The Classes teach a progressive Hatha Yoga practice with a key focus on your spine. Classes are mixed ability with postures modified to suit your level of experience.
We work on a sequence to enable you to develop your own practice.

Classes include:

  • Relaxation & tuning into your breathing
  • Gentle limbering with particular emphasis on your spine
  • Yoga practices using bricks or blocks to free your spinal column
  • Sun salutations – a dynamic flowing sequence of postures to heathe body, flex & extend the spine & focus the mind. Usually combined with mantra(chants)
  • Softer to more dynamic back bending (dependent on experience)
  • Inversions
  • Forward bend & twists to counter pose
  • Breathing & relaxation
  • Mantra
